Afonso Matias Pereira, better known as Afonso O Mágico, discovered his passion for magic around the age of 14. After seeing a magician perform, his curiosity was sparked, and he started learning a few tricks. A magic book, followed by a box of more advanced tricks, only deepened his fascination.

During high school, he moved to a new city where he didn’t know anyone. Magic became his way to connect with others, and the praise he received showed him that he had found something he truly loved. Before long, he was performing live for the first time.
